Megan Geiger (any pronouns) is above all an artist, more specifically a stage manager, performer, and an educator.
They believe in collaboration, communication, and possess a deep passion for her work. She believes in finding the true intention behind a piece of art, even if at first it seems superficial. They love watching younger generations fall in love with the magic of theater the same way they did. Megan believes that pursuing one’s passion, theater or otherwise, is the best medicine.
Megan received her Bachelor of Arts in Drama with a minor in Musical Theater, and has backgrounds in performing, stage management, and theater education. These areas have provided them with many transferable skills that have improved her technique and preparation in all three fields. She can’t pick just one, and she’s dedicated to continuing to pursue these fields for as long as possible.
Outside the theater or classroom, Megan loves reading, music, writing, cooking, and exploring the city. They are a passionate advocate for social change, and strongly believes the theater industry has a responsibility to steer and reflect social movements.

Upcoming Projects
STALIN: The Musical
Megan’s next project is STALIN: The Musical, as Joseph Stalin, debuting September 12th at 8:30pm at the Peoples Improv Theater.
This performance sold out exactly a month before its opening, simultaneously illustrating the exact point the musical makes. The musical explores the dangers of propaganda, and how easy it is to ignore facts when distracted by bright lights, sharp choreography, and catchy melodies.
